In the third quarter of 2024, the virtual pet app category on the Android platform in the United States showed varied performance among the top five applications. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Pokémon Sleep from The Pokémon Company witnessed a notable increase in both revenue and user engagement. Revenue peaked at approximately $111K in the first week of September, while downloads surged to around 39K by the end of the quarter. The app's weekly active users grew from 175K at the beginning of July to over 216K by the end of September.

My Cat - Virtual pet simulator, published by Appsyoulove, experienced a decline in revenue, from $25K in early July to about $14K in late September. Downloads followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from 20K to 11K over the quarter. Weekly active users also saw a reduction, dropping from 83K to 60K.

Cats Mansion: Cat Games by Easetouch saw fluctuating revenue, reaching a high of about $17K in mid-August before closing the quarter at $16K. Downloads were relatively stable, with a slight increase to 4.4K in late September. Weekly active users showed a consistent upward trend, ending the quarter at 14K.
